Registration for Under The Cloud 1.0

The Google Club has taken up the initiative to give an insight and edify  students about the latest know hows and stay abreast with the cutting edge technology. “Under the cloud 1.0“is an 8 day event, organised by Google Club, which will thoroughly educate students  what ‘Cloud Computing' is. The event begins on October 6th and concludes on October 14, 2014 i.e. Monday and is conducted for free from 4:30 p.m on wards at the SIT campus.

It aims at peer to peer teaching, where the students and faculty who are well versed with the given topic, will conduct the classes. Only the registered students will be permitted to attend the classes. Content regarding the topics taught, will be shared with all the registered students on a daily basis.

The event will be concluded on 14th October 2014, wherein a test will be conducted on ‘Cloud Computing’, and a certificate of merit and participation will be awarded by SIT in association with Google Club, to all the students who fair well and clear the test, for which attending on regular basis is highly recommend.

Introductory class on Cloud Computing

Hello,

We are happy to announce Cloud computing course at SIT ! 

Google club, SIT is organizing a 6 day certification course on cloud computing and security. All interested students from all batches and branches are requested to attend the introductory class on Monday(29th September) from 3.30 to 4.30. 

The course will be free of cost and comprise of 6 lectures followed by a test. To know more, attend our first lecture in class B on second floor. For any queries reply to this mail.

This is for all the tech-enthusiasts, creative, crazy and googly students of SIT. The Google Student Club is now officially accepting entries for associating you to one of the coolest companies in the world, Google !

Who can apply?

Anyone interested can apply and no restrictions for the branch or year.

Please note that this club is not restricted to just CS and IT branch students. We welcome students from all fields of technology to participate actively!

Just like everything else in our nation, the membership comes with certain rights and duties.

Rights :

Members will have the better chances to apply for lead positions and Google student ambassador position next year.

Each member will get a certificate.

Members will get to be a part of the R&D initiative by the club.
You get to be a part of huge community, develop leadership and communication skills.

Duties :

Members will be responsible for management, creative and technical roles.

The certificate and goodies will depend on the work done by the member.

It will be the members duty to be responsible and help the club achieve its goals through out the year.
